Moving forward with The Powell A back-to-back development of two phases moves forward during a monumental milestone. The Powell, formerly known as Hockett Gulch Phase 2, has closed on its Construction Loan as of March 27th, 2025! To reach this pivotal point Executive Leadership attended countless Town meetings, 2 rounds of official Planning & Zoning meetings and then finally Town Council! Not to mention all these meetings were in-person, requiring a lot of flights to and from Eagle, CO. It was a lengthy and tiring process, but with steely determination the team pressed on. The Powell will offer 283 units across various floor plans ranging from studios to 2-bedroom apartment homes as well as 4-bedroom layouts, some with co-working spaces. Amenities include a full Clubhouse with several co-working spaces, multiple small offices, a conference room, large outdoor patio, 24hr. fitness studio and more. A pet spa, ski and bike tuning room, hot tub, fire pit, grill stations, dog park and mountain bike trail are also included in this unique amenity package. Sister community to The Pike, The Powell was named alongside The Pike to be complementary, yet unique. Initial branding work has been started, and we will continue to flesh it out and implement across collateral and a new website. The Powell is a Planned Unit Development that will serve to provide a new housing option for the local workforce. The project will add vibrancy to the town by growing its population in a compact design and in-fill location. This allows for a more environmentally sustainable approach to development by limiting impact to existing developed areas and allowing more land preservation as just two of several examples.
