brisolé is a reinterpretation of the French word Brise Solei, which means “sun-breaker”. The
name is a metaphor symbolizing protective quality of shelter and fresh natural air. This name
spoke to us as we were going through the selection process for our newest community
located in Lake Nona. Of course it’s unique, but the meaning behind the name and the feeling
it evokes was a natural fit. Layer on the inspiration stimulated by the interior design package
and the brand becomes further solidified.
We are excited to share some details thus far as we embark on the adventure that is brisolé!
Below is the design inspiration for the logo, icon and color palette. Sophisticated, yet playful
with a striking design representing the sun ‘breaking through’. The brand represents a fusion
of innovative design and luxury, much like the community itself.
brisolé is located in the master planned community of Storey Park in the sub-market of Southeast
Orlando known as Lake Nona. This new community will be home to 325 apartments comprised of
19 floor plans that include studios, 1-bedrooms, 2-bedrooms, 3-bedrooms and even 2-bedroom
carriage style homes. Even more unique is that two of the buildings will provide podium style
parking on the first floor with apartments on floors 2 through 5 and the 2-story, lofted Clubhouse will
be the center of a wrap style building with apartments on either side. Several apartments on the first
floor of the main building will have their own personal yard space overlooking the pool area, an
amenity that can only be found at brisolé.
Situated on a half-moon shaped piece of land is 9 total buildings, including the Clubhouse and 4
carriage style buildings, 2 resident parks including a small and large dog park as well as a
comprehensive outdoor living space including a pool, cabanas, grills and more.
Below are some snapshots of the interior design package put together by Beasley & Henley. In their
words, “interiors that reflect the context of their location were the inspiration for brisolé. Old Florida
charm with a modern twist give the amenities an eclectic and evolved feel. Interiors that feel layered
and collected spark a sense of adventure. Traditional details are reimagined in unexpected ways.
Light wood tones ground the spaces, while the fresh color palette and mix of textures make the
rooms feel lively and relaxing.”
Here is just one view of the Club Room highlighting the 2-story lofted ceilings, statement green wall
and mix of neutrals and pops of color representing the blend of Old Florida charm and modern
luxury.
The Fitness Studio will feature a custom created wall mural highlighting the Storey Park / Lake Nona
region. A dedicated spin/yoga room is located on the second-story loft area.
The game room brings in warmer and richer colors amongst the billiards table, shuffleboard table
and retro video game table.
brisolé offers micro-offices and work lofts for today’s hybrid employee or home office resident.
At the center of the main building, behind the Clubhouse, is an outdoor oasis, featuring a resort-style
pool with sun-shelf, poolside cabanas, a hammock grove, turf lawns for games or gathering around
the firepit, countertop BBQ grills and plenty of space for dining, socializing or relaxing all overlooking
the tranquil conservation pond.
