Congratulations to Calirosa Winter Park on a successful sale, which was completed in
the late afternoon/early evening on Tuesday, November 19th. We first announced that
this special community would be our second Active Adult community in January 2020,
6 months prior to closing on the land and construction loan in June 2020. More than 4
years later it has been an incredible journey.
The journey began with Marlene Broussard opening our first-ever Welcome Center
located in a retail setting in the Summer of 2021. Michelle Ervin soon joined and Team
M&M, as the dynamic duo referred to themselves, was created! It was in this specially
designed space that the team achieved a majority of their pre-leasing, allowing them to
not only open at a preleased rate of 25.8%, but also welcome their first residents on
January 3rd, 2022.
Since then, the team has evolved with Ron and Blair joining Michelle, while Marlene
was called to support Cacema. Everyone who spent time at Calirosa formed a bond
with the Residents as they truly became a part of their daily lives, most definitely
creating lasting memories.
Additionally, Calirosa is an award-winning community, having earned a handful of
Golden Key Awards from AAGO, an NAA Excels Finalist for Best New Construction,
Parade of Homes Merit Award, an Aurora Award for Interior Merchandising and plenty
of resident satisfaction and online reputation accolades. They were even featured on
Good Day Orlando on FOX 35 with David Martin!
Thank you to everyone who was a part of this amazing community from inception,
development, construction and beyond! We couldn’t have done it without you.
